Our First TRU Community Event-Wellness Saturday Recap
Share
As May came to a close, so did National Women’s Health Month - a time meant to spotlight the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of women everywhere. But for us at TRU Connoisseur Solutions, this isn't just a month-long moment. It's a movement.
That’s why this past Saturday in Buckhead, Atlanta, we hosted an exclusive TRU Wellness Experience: an invite-only, curated event created to honor women’s wellness and create space for restoration, intention, and joy.
Because if there’s one thing we know, it’s this: when women pause to take care of themselves, powerful things happen.
A TRU Experience - Crafted with You in Mind
From 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, our guests gathered in a calm and welcoming space, ready to prioritize their whole selves - no titles, no pressure, no performance. Just presence.
The experience included:
- A private Pilates session that engaged body and breath
- Artisanal lattes served with warmth and love
- A thoughtfully prepared lunch to nourish and delight
- A gentle space of restoration, where women could simply be
- And yes, a pair of comfy wellness socks to take the intention home
Each moment was intentional, echoing our belief that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated—it just has to be prioritized.
Why Women Need Wellness - More Than Ever
We live in a society that often expects women to push through exhaustion, carry the emotional labor of their homes and workplaces, and show up with a smile—regardless of how they feel inside.
But chronic stress, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, and fatigue are telling signs that we need to shift the narrative. It’s not just about preventing illness—it’s about creating a lifestyle where health and harmony thrive.
Here’s why wellness is vital for women:
1. Your Body is Your Home
Women’s bodies go through incredible transformations - from menstruation and pregnancy to perimenopause and beyond. Wellness practices like movement, nourishment, and rest help us stay in tune with these changes and care for our bodies with compassion.
2. Stress Affects Women Differently
Women are more likely to experience anxiety and autoimmune disorders. Stress-management techniques like breathwork, mindfulness, and gentle exercise aren't just “nice to have” - they're necessary health tools.
3. Emotional Wellness is Physical Wellness
Suppressed emotions can manifest physically - fatigue, headaches, and even inflammation. Emotional care through journaling, therapy, or connection with others is essential for holistic well-being.
4. Prevention is Empowerment
Regular movement, nourishing meals, and mental resets don’t just make you feel good today - they support your future. Prevention is a form of empowerment. It’s how we reclaim control over our health.
What Made the TRU Experience Special?
Unlike typical wellness events, our experience wasn't designed to “fix” anything. It wasn’t about checking boxes or reaching fitness goals. It was about remembering how it feels to be whole.
We chose Pilates for its low-impact strength, flexibility, and mind-body connection. We chose community for its healing power. And we chose to limit attendance because intimacy fosters authenticity.
The space wasn’t crowded - it was curated. And that made all the difference.
Our attendees left lighter, inspired, and connected - not only to each other, but to themselves.
Bringing the TRU Vibe Into Your Daily Life
Even if you couldn’t attend, there are ways to bring the essence of the TRU Wellness Experience into your everyday. Here are some expanded quick refresh tips tailored for the busy woman:
☕ The 2-Minute Breath Break
Set a timer. Close your eyes. Inhale for 4 counts. Hold for 4. Exhale for 4. Repeat for 2 minutes. It’s a micro reset with macro benefits.
🌿 Create a 5-Sense Moment
Pause and ask:
- What do I see?
- What do I hear?
- What can I touch, taste, and smell?
Grounding yourself in your senses is a powerful way to calm anxiety and bring you into the present.
🧘♀️ Stretch in Bed Before You Rise
Before your feet hit the floor, give your body a gentle stretch. Reach your arms overhead, roll your wrists, bend your knees. A 60-second stretch signals to your nervous system that you matter.
📵 Digital Boundaries
Wellness isn’t only physical. It’s also about protecting your energy. Try setting one screen-free hour a day to reconnect with yourself and those around you.
💧 Hydrate + Affirm
Every time you drink water, pair it with a positive affirmation:
"I am nourishing my body."
"I give myself permission to rest."
"I am more than my productivity."
The Role of Community in Women’s Wellness
Wellness can often feel isolating, especially when you’re balancing so many hats. But what Saturday reminded us is that community is a wellness tool too.
When women gather in safe spaces, there’s a magic that happens. We feel seen. We feel held. We are reminded that we are not alone in our striving, our tiredness, or our desires to feel whole again.
That’s the gift of events like TRU Wellness. They aren’t just breaks from the grind—they are reunions with our truth.

Looking Ahead: More TRU, More You
The TRU Wellness Experience is just the beginning. We’re already dreaming up ways to continue this journey—with more pop-ups, curated experiences, digital wellness content, and deeper support for women who are ready to live fully, not just functionally.
If you missed this round, don’t worry. There will be more. Because you deserve more than a one-time reset. You deserve rhythms of restoration built into your life.
